Hussain Jasim Al Nowais serves as the Chairman and CEO of Al Nowais Investments LLC, a private investment holding company with over 25 subsidiaries. Further, Mr. Al Nowais has been the Chairman of Waha Capital PJSC since2007. Mr. Al Nowais is also the Vice Chairman of Abraaj Capital. He sits on the board of directors of Archirodon Inc. a leading EPC contractor specializing in marin works. He also sits on the board of directors of National Petroleum Services (NPS), a leading regional oil services company based in Dubai. He is also the Chairman of MENA Infrastructure Fund, a fund established to invest in large infrastructure projects across MENA Region. Mr. Al Nowais is also the vice-Chairman and leading director of Rotana, a leading regional brand in the hospitality sector.

Additionally, ,Mr. Al Nowais has a multitude of corporate responsibilities in government and quasi-government entities including National Petroleum Construction Company Limited (NPCC), The Khalifa Fund, a government Fund established to Support & Develop Small & Medium Enterprises, and Emirates Steel Industries.

Hussain Al Nowais is also the Co-Founder and Chairman of Al Nowais Investments, a company at the forefront of regional expansion strategizing and strategic project development in energy, industry, hospitality, infrastructure, and real estate.

Al Nowais’s career took an exponentially greater leap of responsibility when he was sought out by the Abu Dhabi Government to chair strategic public institutions. As the Chairman of Senaat, Hussain Al Nowais is responsible for maintaining one of the UAE’s largest industrial investment holding companies. Authorized to create, optimize, promote and support capital-intensive assets, Senaat manages more than AED 25.3 billion of industrial assets on behalf of the Government of Abu Dhabi as well as the National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), and Khalifa University for Science & Technology.
